“So Far”
I really like the string/piano intro and I do appreciate the fact that the duo have such a great cultural divide (that they have successfully managed to cross) and that they’re willing to discuss it so openly. However, the lyrics do not display a great variety of lyrical wordplay and the song mostly falls back on the chorus, which in all honesty, I don’t find to be that strong or that original. I think there is a lot of potential here, but I want to see these artists become a bit more thrilling, a bit more challenging. I want to see them take a few risks.
