Tampa, Florida emcee Rahim Samad presents his new single “Don’t Matter to Me” featuring R&B singer Jerold. The lively single is from Rahim’s upcoming album ‘Justice/Reformation’, due to be released in November. Rahim’s last album, The Travel Properly Motion Picture Soundtrack (iTunes | Bandcamp) rose high on the CMJ Album charts last year and spawned the singles “Alkahest” (Youtube), “Have Discipline” (Youtube), and “Do Your Thing” (Youtube). “The song (Dont Matter to me) touches on a variety of things”, says Rahim about the track. “I like to leave the meaning of songs up to the listeners and let them take what they get from it. The song is like a party track but it touches on alot of different topics like police brutality & not caring about what other people say or think about you and doing what you feel in spite of that”.
