“Nu Africa” marks an exciting return for the Grammy-nominated lyricist, showcasing a very different side of his unparalleled musical palate. Produced by S1 and Epikh Pro and co-produced by Mark Byrd, the track is laced with CyHi’s signature boom bap influences and raw energy. This song is personal- the politically and racially charged lyrics dismantle recent current events in The United States. In the song, CyHi declares, “Tell the Motherland that a ni–a coming back for her.”
