Nick nack paddy wack, somebody just threw Kosha Dillz a bone. Not only will the DIY rapper pop up at your local venue for an impromptu performance, but he managed to bum rush this year’s Super Bowl! Kosha’s “Cellular Phone” song, as featured on his Beverly Dillz LP, was used on the Bud Light ‘Rescue Dog’ commercial that aired during the game’s 4th quarter. Looks like somebody’s cell phone bill just got a little easier to manage. “Cellular Phone” is available for download on iTunes & Amazon…

The Roots “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around” Video

On February 14th, the soundtrack to the film Soundtrack For a Revolution will be released. It features contemporary artists singing traditional Civil Rights-era freedom songs. The Roots perform “Ain’t Gonna Let Nobody Turn Me Around” in this clip, which juxtaposes black-and-white footage of 20th-century Civil Rights protests with color footage of the band performing in a recording studio.
