Alterbeats continues the album campaign for their debut producer compilation The French Revolution with the visuals for the album cut “True Rhyme,” featuring Divine of Brooklyn’s Walt Whitman Houses, which was once home to Just-Ice and Ol’ Dirty Bastard. A dedicated student of the craft and inspired largely by The God Emcee Rakim, Divine takes you on a tour of his world; from his project stairwells and rooftops, to the lab and to his house of worship and back. “This is true rhyme, true crime, true divine/ Get paid for my displays, what I move through the mind/ My days shine, bless a pen with a smooth rhyme/ You get lost in my thoughts, but get it in due time.” The French Revolution is now available!

The French-based collective of producers, graphic designers and videographers, better known as ALTERPROD/ALTERBEATS unveil the debut single “TV Screen” off their debut LP, The French Revolution. Featuring guest appearances from Chief Kamachi, Kromeatose & Block McCloud, “TV Screen” makes a strong statement about modern society while emphasizing themes central to the album, such as oppression and the unheard, with lines like, “Yes, we do exist, but they don’t believe till we on the TV screen.”
