For his 8th solo LP, Queens emcee junclassic teams up NY DJ/producer Bazooka Joe for BLVD Backdrop. Produced entirely by Bazooka Joe, BLVD Backdrop is a heavy East Coast Boom Bap Hip Hop album made for the streets, avenues and boulevards worldwide.

BLVD Backdrop is straight raw, unadulterated New York Hip Hop. Comprised of 13 tracks, the album includes features from Ceez, King Cesar, Evolve and C-Rayz Walz; with cuts by 2 Kool Tony and DJ 717. Speaking of street… We shot (insert Raekwon “BLAW!” gunshot noise here) this video in the hood on the single ONE and ONLY day it snowed in NYC this year. I wonder how many other artist shot a video that day.

Grungcake and Grey Sky Appeal were on deck to make moves and get this shoot done in 6 hours.
Even on the hottest day of the summer it’s a cold world out there.
