Casey Veggies drops a new cut “Young N****s” produced by The Futuristiks.
At this year’s SXSW, we caught up with a number of artists to get their stories from the road. Rappers Lecrae, Trae Tha Truth, Casey Veggies, Skyzoo, Nyck Caution and Dee-1 all recalled funny, crazy or otherwise memorable experiences from their many road trips—from hitting a deer to taking a Greyhound cross country.

Having been caught Sleeping in Class back in 2011, Los Angeles emcee Casey Veggies has decided to make some serious Life Changes on a brand new, 13-track free album. The project features Booth-approved, lead single “F**k Witchu,” and guests spots from BJ The Chicago Kid, Phil Beaudreau and Dom Kennedy.
Speaking about the new album, Veggies shared the following on his Tumblr: “It took me a long time to grow into this. I feel like this whole time I was searching for something and now I finally found it. Life really does change. Sometimes for the better. Sometimes for the worse. But in the end I feel like we all shall find what we are truly here to do.. stay gold through it all.”
Check LA king Casey Veggies flowing as only he can over a peerlessly funky Chuck Inglish beat on “Sauna,” available on the Fool’s Gold rap compilation Loosies, out December 18th!
