Highly-respected rapper/producer and The Cool Kids member Chuck Inglish is preparing to unleash his debut collection of solo material, the Droptops EP. The project, a prelude to Inglish’s as yet-unscheduled freshman full-length, Convertibles, was inspired by a night spent in a droptop Bonneville during this year’s South by Southwest festival and the good vibes of spending a summer in Los Angeles. Droptops packs nine original records from the Midwestern stalwart, including singles “Drops” and “Tangerine.” Inglish produces all tracks on the EP, which is mixed and mastered by Glenn Sounds (for Truth Studios) and Troy Mitchell. Asher Roth, Buddy, Dash and Retch, Jane Jupiter, Kashflow and Sulaiman make guest appearances throughout the set.
One of the best lyricists in the music business with no question, Asher Roth recording a verse on “For The Love” off upcoming debut album from Chuck Inglish “Convertibles”. New videos coming every Tuesday at 11am PST, subscribe & stay updated with the latest videos!

The Soul Assassin is here and he’s about to burn shit to the ground. Get right down to business and let this thunderous clash of sounds slam some bass into your face. DJ Muggs is in the house. Legendary DJ, longtime member of Cypress Hill, and progenitor of that certain raucous dark hip hop sound, DJ Muggs proves his endurability with Sound Clash Business, the new EP out today on Mishka Records.
This five track release shows how the dextrous Muggs has married his decades of experience in production to newer sounds, incorporating heavy bass, dubstep, and trap elements into his signature sound. It also features A$AP Rocky and The Cool Kids’ Chuck Inglish sounding positively demonic over Muggs’ imposing beats. With everything from full-on dubstep to just plain dub ragga, there’s impressive versatility to Sound Clash Business. You wouldn’t expect anything less from DJ Muggs.
