Devine Carama – Voices From The Grave ft. Deacon The Villian [mp3]

23 04 2013

devineCarama

My hometown has been hit with a rash of recent violence, along with the rest of the country it seems. Everybody gets so wrapped up in the issues (gun control) and the cause (stop the violence), that the victims are often forgotten. This song is dedicated to those that lost their lives too soon and the responsibility we all have to have a positive impact on the youth so we can save more of these young boys & girls from a premature death..

This is the 3rd single off my upcoming FREE album, “No Child Left Behind” dropping late June.

JustMe “Knob Creek” ft. Marcus Wilkerson & Sheisty Khrist [video]

7 02 2013

JustMe shares, “Knob Creek didn’t start off as a song about racism, but when you try to do a song about Kentucky, it’s liable to come up. It may manifest itself in less aggressive ways, but it’s still alive and kickin’. If I may propose a toast…to finding unity in diversity!”

The single is from JustMe’s album “Full Disclosure” available now on Illect Recordings.

Directed by Deacon the Villain (Cunninlynguists).

CunninLynguists – Stars Shine Brightest Remix ft. ST (of G-Side) [audio]

14 10 2012

Building upon last year’s extraordinary compilation album, the A3C Hip-Hop Festival has once again partnered with iHipHop Distribution to bring a diverse array of new hip-hop to fans across the globe with “A3C Volume 2.” Last year’s compilation album, “A3C Volume 1,” catapulted the festival’s artists to a new level as fans across the world were able to share in the experience of concert-goers and discover flourishing new artists such as Freddie Gibbs, Action Bronson, XV, Rockie Fresh, Chase N. Cashe, Jarren Benton, Main Attrakionz, and Soul Khan, just to name a few. The album also featured established, and even timeless, acts such as Dead Prez, M.O.P., Bun B, RZA, 9th Wonder, Murs, and Ski Beatz. iTunes raved, “loaded with 45 tracks, ‘Volume 1’ showcases much-loved and well-established acts from around the country…there’s really something here for everybody.”

“A3C Volume 2″ will follow in its predecessor’s footsteps by once again showcasing over 50 artists on a massive compilation. Volume 2 will spotlight emerging artists from across the country. Artists featured on A3C Volume 2 will represent the next wave of premier talent, soon to be staples in the genre.

The compilation’s fifth single is “Stars Shine Brightest (Remix)” by CunninLynguists. The hip-hop trio consisting of Kno, Deacon the Villain, and Natti are no strangers to the game and are known for for their consistent lyrical dexterity and masterful production. The new track serves as a reinterpretation of “Stars Shine Brightest (In The Darkest Of Night),” the first single off their highly praised 2011 album, Oneirology. This new track features melodic synths, revamped drums, fresh lyrics, a smooth chorus and a guest verse from ST of G-Side.

“A3C Volume 2″ will hit digital stores worldwide on October 16, 2012 via iHipHop Distribution.
