Trek Life’s new album “Hometown Foreigner” is out everywhere now, but we wanted to take a moment to point out the mixtape DJ Rhettmatic of the world famous Beat Junkies put together featuring some of Trek’s greatest moments. The mixtape called “Hometown Heroes” was pressed on cassette and is available for free when you pick up the new album on CD. Closed Sessions Vol. 2 presents Hip Hop fans with new music, as well as a candid look into the creative process of many talented artists.
“So Stupid” is the latest single and documentary from Closed Sessions Vol. 2, released by Chicago indie label Closed Sessions. The song features a collaboration between Sir Michael Rocks, Vic Mensa, and DJ Babu. All three recorded this song in October of 2011 at Chicago’s SoundScape Studio.
