Verse Essential – Freedom Is Mine [mixtape]

15 03 2013

verseEssentialFIM

Queen’s (New York) own Verse Essential returns with the follow up to his well received ‘Ingenious’ album, his latest offering, ‘Freedom Is Mine’ is a project for the purist. Having previously worked with underground mainstays such as Access Immortal, Jukstapose, Sadat X, Godilla, as well as sharing stages with Naughty By Nature, Vinnie Paz and Ill Bill. Verse Essential is bringing heads some of that authentic, nonconformist Hip-Hop, something the genre has been severely lacking of late.

‘Freedom Is Mine’ boasts a solid feature/production list, collaborations include Detroit lyricist Marv Won, Access Immortal, Complex, Jukstapose and more. Along with some well crafted production from accomplished beat-smiths such as DJ Spinna, Marley Marl, Todd Sykes, Kid Called Quest, Kiza + others. ‘Freedom Is Mine’ is available now for FREE exclusively on Bandcamp.
