After her recent release of The City is Ours album, Trinity is back with a new summer joint titled “Chicago Summer” (DC Mix) featuring Griffen.

Chicago Summer is a song I wrote for my city about the murders that heighten in the summer. After watching things get bad in summer 2011 and now even worse in summer 2012, I feel like we need a song like this. It’s not a corny plea but a reflection of my real life experiences in my city and our history. My engineer buddy DC remixed the song as the original version is on my May 2012 released album The City is Ours (Http://Chicagotrinity.bandcamp.com). Griffen adds a verse representing the South side. We’ve filmed the soon to be released video with Chicago director APJ (Films).
