Underground rap crew Grumpy Old Men (Mike Schpitz, Pete Sayke) and Indianapolis, Indiana beatsmith LONEgevity have come together with The DJBooth to bring listeners their new remix project, Sunday Brunch.
The project packs 10 fresh remixes of tracks originally featured on Grumpy Old Men’s 2011 street album, Sunday Skool, and 2012′s Free Lunch. Included are reader-acclaimed revamps of “Kick Rocks” and “Where It Go.” In addition to providing all instrumentals, LONEgevity contributes vocals to track three. Additional guest appearances come courtesy of Grade APlus, Scheme, Sin Castle and Tona.
Naptown producer and emcee LONEgevity (as well as BDTB founder), has dropped this 25-track compilation of tracks that he’s produced in the last year or so. Some of the songs are on projects, some are unreleased, and others are just loosies, but this is a good mix of tunes to represent Lone’s work in the last few years. Get familiar if you haven’t! Features include Grumpy Old Men, Add-2, Sulaiman, Hinx Jones, Skyzoo, Fortilive, Blake Allee, and many others.
Debut single off of Chicago’s Papi Jamon and Indianapolis’ LONEgevity’s upcoming collaborative EP entitled #ConnectGame. The project will consist of 6 tracks by Papi Jamon entirely produced by Lonegevity.
