New Oh No Remix of Strong Arm Steady’s “No Sky Limit” featuring Dom Kennedy, taken from the Stereotype album.
Oh No has remixed Strong Arm Steady’s album Stereotype, and we kept it a secret until the day when the beat making, mixing and mastering were all complete and ready for release. That’s today.
This is available for now exclusively at Stones Throw and via Stones Throw’s digital subscription service – Stones Throw Digital Discography.
Stereotype was originally recorded late last year with Statik Selektah on the beats, 14 tracks total. Oh No’s flip of the album is a shorter album than the original – seven vocal tracks with some worthwhile Oh No interludes, 30 mins runtime, and the price is nice.
KRNDN (formerly spelled as Krondon) of Strong Arm Steady hooked up with David Choe (professional gambler, artist, ghost porn writer, motivational speaker, pervert) for his “Ask me anything” featuring on Reddit. KRNDN stopped by and these videos emerged…includes a tap dancer, porn stars, Money Mark (Beastie Boys), a monkey, and other weird shit.

Listen: KRNDN (Krondon) – Opium Tea
Though Krondon‘s been missing on the solo tip for a long minute—his last feature, freestyle series inclusion Intermission, dropped way back in summer of 2010—the Strong Arm Steady Gang representative opted against making his grand entrance with something hard-hitting and dramatic. Instead, he’s returned with the world premiere of a cut as blissfully relaxing as a steaming cup of Opium Tea. A promotional single originally recorded for inclusion on producer Josh The Goon‘s next album, this hazy selection finds the emcee delivering intricate bars over the hypnotic woodwind samples of the A&R/producer (a frequent collaborator with Freddie Gibbs and Bambu). While Opium Tea, as mentioned above, isn’t attached to any project, fans should keep their browsers locked for further news and tunes leading up to Krondon and JTG’s untitled/scheduled forthcoming sets.
We had the homeys Mitchy Slick, Phil Da Agony, and Krondon of Strong Arm Steady drop by our studios to knock out a live one-take performance. Make sure you don’t sleep on their latest album ‘Stereotype’ in conjunction with producer Statik Selektah.
