In August 2012, Von Pea was sitting in L.A. with new creative energy and nowhere to put it. Listening to a beat tape from Aeon, Von began writing on his flight back to New York. A few months later, hip-hop fans are being treated to the duo’s new collaborative project, Duly Noted. Included on the project are singles “Things Have Changed” and “Alone.”

A few months back Quelle Chris signed to a multi-project deal with Mello Music Group. As Quelle prepares his debut proper for later this year, the prolific producer/emcee (who is most famous for his work with Danny Brown, Sean Price, and Roc Marci) decided to put together a new project with some of his peoples: Cavalier, Fresh Daily, Tanya Morgan, Denmark, DJ GroWeyez, and more. After the first School Daze inspired single LONG TOKES dropped last week, Quelle and company put together a video for the track “We Eat It” featuring Cavalier. Through a smokey horn sample, Quelle and Cav talk that socially conscious rap about GMOs, Hydrogenated oils, and the poisonous wasteland our daily menu has become.
