I remember a time when a cancelled gig would mean I’m knocking on some doors lookin for a meal somewhere. I give thanks that I’m not in that position now but I think about all of the fiends I have who still make a decent living off live performances.

If you are a fan, now is the time to prove it. If you’ve been moved by a song buy it!There are still plenty or streaming sites that offer sales. Bandcamp is a great way to pay the artists directly. If you’ve been moved by a piece of art, put in a bid! You’ve got plenty of time to rearrange furniture. Clear out your closet, donate and purchase that new Rebel Arms tee you had your eye on at the last show. See if your favorite DJ has a mixtape or mix show you can support via Patreon.
Lastly take the necessary precautions to safeguard both yourselves and high risk communities in the midst of these uncertain times. These are uncharted waters, no one knows where this is heading. If time permits focus on self in order to best support those around you.
