Two of hip-hop’s most uncompromising forces — Ransom and Conductor Williams — join together for a new collaborative project, The Uncomfortable Truth, which will be released on 11.20.25. The project’s first single, “Bomaye,” is now available on all digital streaming platforms.

Following the success of Ransom’s recent collaborative release with DJ Premier, The Reinvention, the acclaimed emcee now connects with Conductor Williams — one of the most innovative producers in modern hip-hop — for a project rooted in raw honesty, creative risk-taking, and sonic evolution.

“The title ‘Bomaye’ comes from the Lingala phrase that means ‘Kill Him” Ransom explains. “It’s what the crowd was chanting for Ali in Zaire. This track is about killing the competition; just like Ali did in Zaire. People thought he was older, slower, past his prime. But he still went out there and took down the giant. That’s the energy I’m on—proving that skill, strategy and heart will always beat hype.”
