Back to where it all started! Lone Ranger was the first track to be released from Jaz Kahina’s debut LP Almost Human, produced by Curt Cataract. It was also the first video shot for the project.

Filmed entirely on location in London by Jordan Grant, the video features the likes of Skinnyman, Jonzi D, Killa Kela and host of other heads.

With over two decades of skin in the game this album is long anticipated and solidifies the East London emcee’s honed style, lyrical versatility and distinct confidence, cementing her not only as one of the brightest stars in the scene, but one of the most intriguing.

Almost Human brings something nostalgic yet fresh to the scene. Pure Hip Hop but with sonic references to electro, grime, jungle and more. The 12-track LP is steeped in Boom Bap tradition, while Curt Cataract’s production adds an intrinsic layer of electronic modernism throughout the entire project. Almost Human invites you into a world of subculture, mischief, and introspection, providing both maturity and humour in equal measure.

Nothing short of a tour de force and after years of putting in the work, Jaz is set to blow up, transcend barriers, and, receive her due recognition and positioned as one of the finest Hip Hop artists of her generation.

Out on Weaponize Records and released on vinyl and limited cassette, Almost Human is set to be the UK Hip Hop classic.
