Prozack Turner – Leisure Rules feat Marc Stretch (prod. by J Dilla) DJ Pack

n the summer of 2003, Prozack Turner and Marc Stretch headed to the legendary studios of Sausalito, California, for a late-night session that resulted in “Leisure Rules.” At the height of the DreamWorks Records era, the track was set to be a centerpiece of a major release—until the label folded, the master tapes were shelved, and the music was locked in the vault for over two decades.

Produced by the late, legendary James Dewitt Yancey (J Dilla), “Leisure Rules” captures that signature Jay Dee swing—unquantized drums, soul-drenched sampling, and the raw warmth of the MPC 3000.

To honor the 20th Anniversary of J Dilla’s passing, this project is finally being made available to the public in its intended form. This digital release includes the unreleased acapellas, instrumentals, and radio edits, providing a rare, unfiltered look into a specific moment in hip-hop history.
