Bio:

Born in South Minneapolis, Minnesota Definite grew up listening to the soul sounds of Bootsy Collins, Ohio Players,Prince, Maze, and Earth Wind and Fire. His childhood days in the Midwest met new dimensions when Definite reached the West Coast in 1996. It was then that he become drawn to lyricists like Common, Black Thought and Mos Def. Since 1998 Definite has been creating lyrics and rapping. He has made a few independent albums, collaborated in numerous group projects, and also recorded under Big Red Records in Orange County, California. His most current collaborations are with: Blu, Soul Cal, Satori K, Ophrap, J Black, Self Lion, Diverse, J Bizness, T-Nasty, Reverb, Roc Smith, Miguel, Glory, Diondre Jermaine, and D. Magana Definite’s deliverance and aesthetic have been likened to Black Thought and Common.
