The lead off single from The Whitefield Brother’s Earthology, their long-awaited follow up to 2001’s In The Raw, finds rappers Edan and Mr. Lif riding a space echo atop a bouncing tuba. “The Gift” is the latest in a long line of duets between these Boston-reared MCs and appears here in vocal, instrumental and – courtesy of Oh No – remixed forms. 12” single forthcoming in early December.
