A couple weeks ago we found an email in our inbox from Oakland-based photographer John Coyne. Apparently, he liked the Lumière joint enough to tell us that he was gonna go out and put together some visuals for it. Next thing we know, another email from John arrives over the weekend attached with a cool video he shot using Lumière as the soundtrack.

Just like vocalists take our Riddims to make their own tunes (and just like we snatch sounds from other artists to make tracks of our own!) it’s super dope to see artists from other disciplines taking inspiration from this music and creating their own art with it. After all, such is the culture of the modern Cinemetropolis, no?
