Around the time that Strong Arm Steady & Madlib were working on In Search of Stoney Jackson, the Brooklyn-bred, VT transplant BURNTmd and Phil The Agony recorded to a few Madlib beats were luckily never used for the LP. “GTDMIB: The PhilMadBurntAnthem” is the first of a few recovered sessions that we unleash to the internets. This leak in particular will be featured on BURNTmd’s forthcoming and long awaited mixtape The Green Invasion, which is rumored to also have another Madlib produced track featuring the one and only S-N-double-O-P D-O-double-Gizee (that’s Snoop Dogg for the Izzle-itterate). Before the good doctor liberates the invasion, stay tuned for his Not So Black & White (EP) which will feature older, unreleased material in addition to some new strains.
