Rapper and METAL FACE AKADEMY member MOBONIX readies his newest single “Reset Button” off the forthcoming Fall LP rePROGRAMMING on XIL Recordings. “The record is done mostly, I’m just allowing time for the right co-conspirators to show up,” says MOBONIX of the album, which will be accompanied by a comic book series that delves into his origins and exploits.

Villian, Anti-Super Hero, Metal-Faced ATLien. Call him what you want, but either way MOBONIX is one of the Akademy’s most promising emcees. After releasing his debut album in 2008 called Third World America, he was featured on DOOM’s 2009 Born Like This (on “Supervillainz”) record, alongside Posdnous, Kurious and Slug. Earlier this year, he was featured on The Dark Monk’s True Underlord and Last month, he released “Cocaine Diaries” off The Bionic Jazz Project, a side effort he will produce with emcee MarQ Spekt and will feature various beat makers in the Winter of 2012.
