This will surprise absolutely no one familiar with the movement Jamla has going on, but Big Remo’s “I’m Back” is motherfucking doper than a Bogota stash house. And if you’re not familiar then you’re about to be; either way, I highly recommend turning the volume the fuck up.

If you can’t tell by the multiple f-bombs, I’m feeling “I’m Back”. As always Khrysis comes though on the instrumental, dropping a beat that sounds seriously Dilla influenced with some southern soul spin. And in no way am I trying to dimish Remo’s rhymes, the man’s as solid on the mic as ever…but holy sweet baby jesus Rapsody killed her verse. Just First 48ed those bars. On the real, Rapsody’s quickly becoming my favorite young emcee.
