After moving to Chicago in 2007, Topeka, Kansas native, Mike Schpitz, met Slot-A through a mutual friend, and immediately established a musical bond and created a unique sound that has developed into a full length album, Have You Seen My Stapler? Both Mike and Slot continued working on Stapler, while growing as artists working with some of Chicago’s brightest up and comers. Slot is well known for his work with Add-2, Gerald Walker, Neak, Scheme, Mr. Robotic, Rashid Hadee, Sincerely Yours and many more. Mike Schpitz has released 8 projects to date including Sunday Drive with Phys Edison, Love Potion Number 9th, Sunday Skool and #FreeLunch as Grumpy Old Men with Pete Sayke. Fresh off the heels of Schpitz’ #FreeLunch and Slot-A’s projects with Neak, Scheme and Gerald Walker, Schpitz and Slot are ready to release Stapler and share their sound with fans and new listeners.
