Inspiration for ‘OPWAP’ came from the chemistry built from Esohel’s live shows that are assisted by his DJ, Ricky Dubs. After rocking shows together, the need to translate the live energy into a studio LP was inevitable. To solidify that, “On Purpose With A Purpose” was created. OPWAP brings a modern touch to the 90’s inspired hip-hop from Ricky Dub’s production accompanied by Esohel’s delivery of bravado, feel good, and conscience lyrics.
