Well it’s finally here! TxE’s new album “Vs PRTLND” is now available for Free Download. After a 2 year wait, failed label deal, 3 solo projects, and a million other hurdles; Portland’s TxE is ready to release their genre defining album to the world. Producer G_Force aka Calvin Valentine samples 9 PDX indie-rock bands including Starfucker, Typhoon, Sallie Ford & The Outside Sound and more. Rappers Epp and Tope deliver their signature chemistry and charismatic wordplay, while DJ Celsius provides all the scratching which only adds to the very unique and refreshing project.

On the opening track “This Town,” TxE taps Vursatyl of the Lifesavas, for a rare feature, and all three MCs explain the pros and cons of being a rapper from the Rose City. On “Change A Thing,” producer G_Force takes the opportunity to craft the instrumental completely from scratch; meanwhile Tope and Epp bring an energetic sound to this “festival-style” anthem. This is a different type of sound you’ve heard from the group before.

The track “PTTLN” allows G_Force to step from behind the board and join Epp and Tope on the mic for the “Party Till’ The Late Night” anthem that TxE fans have already crowned a classic. In a genre where every artist seems to be copying each other; Tope, Epp, and G_Force have truly gone the extra mile to create a very unique sound.
