Doomtree announced the release of their new track, “.38 Airweight,” today on The Current. The track, featuring all crew members, is the first new music released as a collective since 2011’s critically acclaimed No Kings album. Lazerbeak explains, “We’ve been in the studio making a ton of songs with a new album in mind and are really pumped about how things are turning out. Wanted to drop this leaker track off early while it’s still fresh to let people know we’re getting back at it.

The whole crew will be playing the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand on 8/30 in St. Paul. Prior to that, Every Single Day, a 500 page full-color book including over ten years of behind the scenes photos, artworks, artifacts, and inside jokes will be released on 8/26, and is available for pre-order right now. Each pre-order includes the limited-edition hardcover book, signed by all seven members of the crew, along with a 22-track Best of False Hopes CD featuring rare, unreleased, and out-of-print songs from Doomtree’s early years.
