Los Angeles modern-funkster, XL Middleton, is preparing for the release of his upcoming album “Tap Water” which will be out on October 30th via MoFunk Records.

“Tap Water” is XL Middleton’s debut full length album, who continues to properly represent a new generation of modern-funk artists in a similar vein as Dam-Funk, Tuxedo and others. Deeply rooted in the sounds of 1990’s West Coast G-Funk and 1980’s boogie, XL Middleton has crafted a sound that pays homage to his predecessors while helping to drive the sub-genre forward for years to come.

Today, check out two brand new songs taken from XL Middleton’s upcoming “Tap Water” album for the tracks “Bumpin’” and “You Know It’s True” featuring Diamond Ortiz.
