Today, we’re happy to share the striking new music video from Paleface & Matre for their song “Mars Today” which features vocals from Tanzanian singer, Ashimba. The initial collaboration between Paceface & Matre developed during the LA MC’s European tour. Making a stop in Helsinki, Finland, Matre encountered one of Finland’s hometown heroes, Paleface, and the two bonded in deep conversation, which helped conceive their collaborative album “Food for the Gods” which was released a couple of years back in Finland.

“Mars Today” will be featured on Matre’s upcoming “Courage” mixtape which will be released in February 2016 and the video was directed by Vesa (Artevo). The video, filmed in Helsinki, provides a powerful narrative to compliment the song’s message which warns that technological advancement does not necessarily equate to human wellness.
