Today we like to share with you the re-release remastered version of the third album from the Chicago duo theWHOevers “Marathon”. The guys originally made this album available in March of 2015 dropping every record on the project in a very unique approach. As opposed to the ordinary style of a whole project at once J. Arthur & Lloyd Dotdot (formerly known as Dotkom) dropped a record off the album every two weeks, a total of 10 records or what they liked to call each song an “episode”. Similar to a TV show you had to wait and anticipate for the next one. Many of the episodes were thankfully featured on premiere music blogs and sites such as; Complex, Pigeons & Planes, DJ Booth , Fake Shore Drive & Okayplayer just to name a few. The album touches on various topics from situations on love, odes to their favorite artists growing up, struggles through daily life lessons and the current state of their city of Chicago. Production reigns include J. Arthur as usual, Chicago producers RAM, Malcolm Flex & Dutch beatsmith KA-YU. For those of you familiar with the album already hope you revisit the album in a new way sonic-ally and artistically. For newcomers we hope you embrace the body of work positively and hope to catch your attention as we keep moving forward.
