Last year, MED, Blu and Madlib released their collaborative “Bad Neighbor” album which featured production from Madlib and raps provided by Cali rappers MED and Blu. The album also featured MF Doom, Anderson .Paak, Hodgy Beats, Dam-Funk, Aloe Blacc, Mayer Hawthorne and others.

Next year, on March 24th, the instrumental release for “Bad Neighbor” will be released with production entirely by Madlib. The vinyl and digital release will include all album instrumentals and a digital download card with 3 bonus beats by Madlib not included on the “Bad Neighbor” album. Pre-orders will also get an unreleased song entitled “Turn It Up” which features MED, Blu and Oh No and production from Madlib.

Vinyl and digital pre-orders are available now and today check out the brand new video for the song “Get Money” which features Detroit’s Frank Nitt. The song was taken from the original “Bad Neighbor” album and the music video was directed by Joseph Paul Alvarado.

Finally, for those in LA this week, MED’s record label “Bang Ya Head” will be celebrating the 11 year anniversary for the label while celebrating the upcoming instrumental “Bad Neighbor” release. The show will feature performances from MED & Blu (Bad Neighbor), Oh-No, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Dudley Perkins and others. There will also be a very special guest performance. The event will take place this Friday, Dec 17th.
