Promnite teases his Snake Charmer EP (out 3/10 on Fool’s Gold) with the Cali bump of “Ride Around” featuring Adam Vida, which premiered on Hypebeast. This is some cosmic car alarm shit: a masterful collision of hydraulic kick drums, cut up marching band noises, and Vida’s undeniable, darkly comic flows. The producer, DJ and Athletixx co-founder couldn’t have picked a better follow up to his Denzel Curry-laced “Gunsmoke” (which raced to 1M+ plays on Soundcloud in a matter of weeks), and Promnite has even more heady collabs and futuristic pleasures in store on Snake Charmer.
