The new album “Anchovies” from Detroit’s Apollo Brown and Fresno’s Planet Asia isn’t for everybody. It’s lo-fi, nasty, and minimalist to the extreme. But for some, it’s absolutely perfect. Stripped down to accentuate Asia’s bars, Apollo Brown lays a gorgeous backdrop for gutter tales.
