Sudan Archives has just shared a new video for “Paid,” taken from her self-titled EP on Stones Throw Records. The video, directed by Alima Jennings, pays homage to Malian photographer Malick Sidibé’s 1960s images. Jennings styled the video with stark, monochromatic patterns and shot it in black and white 16mm film.

Sudan will be taking her captivating live show on the road, supporting Tune-Yards on her US tour this February and March and performing at Coachella and SXSW. In June, she’ll come to Europe for a tour including dates at Field Day and Best Kept Secret festivals.
