Enter The Double Dragon’ is a 3 track EP by Nigerian veteran emcee/videographer Psalmurai (of the Kalifate fame) and producer/DJ Teck-Zilla (of Str8Buttah). Produced in its entirety by Teck-Zilla, the short body of work is a testament to Psalmurai’s katana sharp lyricism and smooth delivery over cinematic soundscapes peppered with soundbites from classic run-run shaw kung-fu flicks.
The EP starts off with the anthemic “God Level” that aims to explain Psalmurai’s status as a top tier lyricist. Devoid of any hooks or gimmicks, Psalmurai proclaims the duo’s God Level status with detailed effort and layered meanings.
The follow-up track “Soul Calibre” is a solemn but head-nodding cut that sees Psalmurai in his element once again. He takes back emcees to the task and challenges the status quo. On this one, Dj Teck-Zilla cuts in a number of classic hip-hop lines on the hook.
The final cut “Samurai Dreams” closes the project out on a triumphant note. Over a sublime backdrop, Psalmurai stands his ground and questions the individuals who lack the proper work ethic to achieve their goals.
The 3 track body of work will be followed by carefully shot videos that add an extra layer of meaning to the project. All the videos were shot by The Myth and Psalmurai. Psalmurai also edited and animated the videos.

Psalmurai: is a Lagos based emcee who started his career as a member of 2 distinct Nigerian hip-hop groups, The Kalifate, and Nuff Noize. He is also an in-demand videographer/animator/illustrator and has contributed to independent comic book publishers in Lagos, Nigeria.
Teck-Zilla: is the globe-trotting producer/dj who has worked with a plethora of acts around the globe. He is also a blogger who writes for the UK based blog Thewordisbond, Weekly Rap Gods and others. He recently kicked off his own podcast No Shakes No Worries.
