In a blink of an eye, ten or fifteen years will pass. You will change, gain weight, lose weight, grow hair or lose hair and that’s all without the distractions of life. Each of us will choose how we shall proceed, sometimes the correction of making the wrong choice can be painful or unpleasant. For K-Beta, getting back in shape would start early in the morning at a local high school. The clock was ticking, the sun was at it’s hottest, and the bleachers only seemed to multiply in his absence. The sweat, the leg cramps and lungs gasping for relief. K-Beta versus father time, captured with the booming backdrop provided by DJ J Scrilla.

He made a choice to push himself beyond his limits, running the bleachers, the track, the stairs, and driving himself to failure repeatedly. Did he escape the frying glare of the sun? No, but it didn’t stop him from leaving it all (including his dinner from the night before) on the field. He tested his limits, failed at times and got back up, which resonates now more than ever.
