FRD FRLN “Street Disciples” feat. Joe Clark & DJ Spictackular (Official Video)

After spending nearly a decade delivering flavor to the New Jersey underground hip-hop scene with his crew Animal Crackas/AIDS, Jersey City native, FRD FRLN (pronounced Fred Fairlane) returns with his new music video, “Street Disciples”, featuring fellow Dirty Jersey-spitter Joe Clark. The colorful visuals are shot by renowned music video director, Starz Coleman (Crooked I, Paul Wall, Flee Lord, Jo Jo Simmons), capturing FRD FRLN and Joe Clark taking a stroll through their graffiti-covered habitat spitting the type of potent flows you would expect from these two Outsidaz and Artifacts associates. The hypnotizing soundscape is provided by United Kingdom’s veteran producer, Endemic Emerald, paired with knifelike cuts from DJ Spictackular forming a tremendous foundation for this lyrical pyramid building. FRD spoke about “Street Disciples”, stating, “I am here to update the boom-bap sound. This song is the perfect blend of the past and present. These are simply my thoughts illustrated. Nothing more. Nothing less.”

“Street Disciples” appears on FRD FRLN’s upcoming EP titled “Thoughts Illustrated” scheduled to be released September 23rd via No Cure Records / Fat Beats. The project is entirely produced by Endemic Emerald and features notable guest appearances from Tame One (Artifacts) & Young Zee (Outsidaz).
