My latest song Salt N Pepa, lyrically this track was inspired by the idea of aging gracefully in life and music. Sonically, it draws inspiration from Baltimore Club Music and Jazz Rap. It also reimagines Hip-Hop legends, Salt-N-Pepa’s lyrics, “Salt-N-Pepa’s here” from the classic “Push It” to say “Salt and pepper beard”. It’s a little tongue-in-cheek with a ton of veteran swag, wrapped in a fun, upbeat, Hip-Hop dance track.
