Vice beats and Ellie Harris – Third Perspective EP

In 2021 Vice beats and Ellie Harris released the highly successful single Lost Time featuring Manchester based lyricist Kinkai alongside Thalassic on saxophone, with a remix from the incredibly talented Mecca:83. The single was featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist, played in Adidas shops around the world, and is still featured on Ministry Of Sound’s Chilled Hip Hop selection, alongside a wide range of tastemakers supporting the release.

The duo return with their EP Third Perspective. A reflective, soulful and introspective project seeing Ellie Harris explore varying emotions and moments in her life. The 4 track EP includes Lost Time, in addition to Rhythm, a jazz soaked live number featuring drums from VB’s regular collaborator Gaspar Sena, and the beautifully subtle track Remember, featuring LA based flautist Caro Kung.

Ellie Harris has been making waves in the UK Jazz and Soul scene. Having headlined at London’s iconic Pizza Express Jazz Club, her solo work has garnered support from Spotify, DJs and tastemakers alike, including BBC Introducing.

The EP features artwork from Manchester based illustrator Benjac, who created the single art for Lost Time, and mastering from Cosmic Trigger Audio. The EP began life in 2020, and working across London and Bristol, Vice beats and Ellie Harris have finally completed the short but perfectly from project, illustrating both of their skills within the Neo-Soul and Jazz arena.

Third Perspective is available in digital form via HHV, Bandcamp and all streaming platforms from 8th December 2023 on EQ Music / HHV Label.
