Track three added to the iMAKE GOLD compliation album! ??

This joint started in 2021. I first heard C-Red rhyme from #WhiteCoatWednesdays on her IG. Every other day I tuned in to hear her rhyme – pen game, delivery, spirit, voice – Dope! One day I showed her some love on a post and she hit me back like “we should work!” YES! I knew we could make something cold. A little after I connected with C-Red, I was watching this documentary about the history of Sugarcane and the transatlantic slave trade. The seriousness of the documentary, inspired the feel of the beat when I was creating. Raw, serious, and it also reminded me of some ol’ mid- 90s Kool G Rap sound. I could hear C-Red’s voice and flow complimenting the beat, so I sent the idea to her. YO! When I first heard what she sent back, I played it like 10 times back to back.
