Headnodic + Jazz Mafia – Risk pts.1+2 (feat. Eligh, Breathless + Paul Hanson)

“RISK (parts 1 & 2)” the new single (or is it a split double single? mini-EP? whatever you wanna call it) from the upcoming LP by Headnodic + Jazz Mafia—two songs I’m profoundly excited about, thanks to the incredible collaborators who made them possible.

Track one: “Risk Part 1”
We got Eligh (Living Legends) and Breathless (Femme Deadly Venoms and all around bad-A$$).

I’ve been a fan of Eligh for years—he’s one of the crown jewels of the Living Legends crew, straight-up underground hip-hop royalty. If you know what I do, you already know the Legends are on the Mount Rushmore of indie rap. Eligh blessed this joint beautifully.

Breathless? She’s a go-to ringer. Every time, she shows up, gets it, makes it her own, and delivers beyond expectation. She crushed it, as always.

Track two: “Risk Part 2”
This one stars Paul Hansonon on bassoon—and honestly, it exists because of Paul. for “part 1”, we had him replay a sample from an old dusty library record, then told him to “go nuts” at the end. And he did. Like… so nuts we had to call it it’s own song. I cracked out the MPC, banged out drums under what he played, and boom.

Vinyl preorders are live now over at Be With Records
We’re letting the vinyl bubble for a minute before the full digital drops, so if you’re a wax head, don’t sleep—grab it now, because who knows what’s coming with these tariffs.

Big love and high fives to everyone supporting this journey. Let’s go!
