My brother, artist/musician/producer extraordinaire Bobby Ross Avila asked me to submit a remix for his single “Never Had A Chance” that dropped in November 2025. He wanted to do some type of campaign to promote new music that he was ready to drop. He has worked & produced for Janet Jackson, Usher, & Mary J. Blige to name a few. And somehow, for some reason, I was one of the few people that he ask for a remix, knowing he can directly go to people like his brother Iz Avila, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Dj Quik, & Dj Battlecat to name a few.

When Bobby asked me to do a remix, I was like “Are you sure you’re asking the right guy?!?” LOL!! He said “I have faith in you”, but did I have faith in myself in doing an R&B/Soul remix to one of the most talented person I know….lol. I got so nervous in trying to make a remix, I actually made 2 remix versions because I didn’t know what type of vibes that Bobby was looking for. He actually like them alot because of the contrast. Because Bobby is such a busy man, unfortunately he couldn’t use the remixes as an official release but he was so gracious enough to give me his official blessings to let me release them as a Free Download.

I want to thank Bobby for giving me such an opportunity for letting me do these remixes. As a producer/beatmaker, it really helped me push myself as a music creative that is outside of my comfort zone. Shout to other half of the Avila Brothers, my brother, the talented Dj/Producer Iz Avila. I hope you enjoy these remixes as much as I had fun creating them.
