‘Retrogenesis’ marks the second full-length collaboration between Godfather Don and Paris-based producer Parental, following their 2020 album Osmosis, released during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This new chapter pushes their sound further, blending raw sample-based hip-hop with a sharp sense of musical direction.

The album features contributions from Alcynoos (co-productions with Parental), a track produced by Lex (de Kalhex) who also handled the album artwork, Debonair P and Soul Intellect, who adds their signature touch on scratches. The project is rounded out with remixes by Venom and Figub Brazlevi?, who also handled the mastering of the album.
