“Boards of Canada isn’t a hip-hop group but their approach to making music always felt hip-hop adjacent to me (the sampling, the drum programming, the vocal chopping, the sequencing, etc).

After months of posting practice videos of myself scratching over BoC’s music, I decided to record it all in to one giant mix incorporating thier music, classic hip-hop, and the original sources they’ve sampled over the years.

(I promise this wasn’t time to coincide with the release of “Infetno”. The seeds for this mix were planted and documented over a year ago).
