I wanted my 2010 album Peas Gotta Have It to be a double lp but I knew that would be a hard sell. Fast forward to 2026 and we all have so much content to consume that even our favorite most trusted artists have to keep it brief to hold our attention. I wanted to achieve this goal on my bucket list despite that. Loner is a double cd, but it’s also two separate albums that do stand alone and are releasing via streaming separately on August 11 (First Half) and September 11 (Second Half).

I consider the first half more “colorful” and playful while the second is more traditional rap ish, but both sides are topic heavy, covering the many different relationships we have throughout life with our loved ones.
