Jeru The Damaja – Tokyo, the official animated music video from the new album Blessed The Evolution. One late night, one invitation, and a story you will not see coming.

Every frame of this video was hand drawn and hand animated, and that care fits the song. It starts after the show, with the glow still on and a stranger offering to take me somewhere new. A cabaret, a wall of laser lights, a door in the back, and a night that turns into a fight for the exit. It is dark comedy and action storytelling in the classic tradition of the culture, told with a straight face and a wink. Stay until the very last line.

Did you see the ending coming? Tell me in the comments.
