Over the summer Cookbook collaborated with DJ Rhettmatic to release the Phantom Menace, the 1st installment of his mini album series (CBEPs), where he works with a different producer for each EP. With the year almost over, Cookbook teams up with west coast emcee/producer extraordinaire Blu (of Blu & Exile) to release the second installment of series titled YES.

YES consist of 8 tracks full of soulful beats, & dope rhymes that take the listener on fun ride with these two west coast staples making it certifiably fresh. Listeners will find that the sentiment behind this album is all about saying Yes to opportunities in life with nothing to fear. Blu handles all the production while Cookbook handles the rhymes along with a few special guests Pigeon John, Frank Nitt, and Playdough.
