The Cholo Goth movement is real, and Prayers are some crazy motherfuckers. In their new video for “Young Gods,” we follow them having a really normal, totally run of the mill day in San Diego where there’s a big ass brawl unfolds between two gangs, both lead by a different member of Prayers. All during the fight, you can hear the early 80’s waves of “Young Gods” clink through a tune that sounds like old school Ministry or Heaven 17 all back ended by a high strung whine that knocks it out. Prayers’s vocalist Leafar Seyer throws down some verses over the beat while the drums kick repeatedly. The brawl doesn’t end up too well, and Prayers has to take the fall for everything when the cops bust into their house and drag them to the ground. Sayers winds up in jail, but luckily a real dude is able to bust him out, the identity of which you’ll just have to see to find out.
